EAL Journal is a magazine for teachers and practitioners of English as an Additional Language. It is produced by the National Subject Association for EAL (naldic) and given free to the organisation's members.
Printed and distrubuted on a termly basis, we launched the magazine with naldic's editor Rob Sharples in Autumn 2016, and continue to provide design services for each edition. The magazine brings readers up to date with the latest EAL developments around the world, encourages activism through local support networks, brings key debates to a wider audience and provides research and educational material for its readers.
The magazine's mix of in-depth analysis and easily accessible design has already proved to be a hit with readers and advertisers, and the publication's pagination has increased with every edition. Contributors have included children's author Michael Rosen, professor of educational linguistics Constant Leung and primary education and EAL lecturer Jean Conteh.
Besides working on the editorial content of the magazine we also design some of the advertisements for the Journal's clients and sourced the printing.
Services include: magazine and advertising design, print sourcing, image sourcing
